Welcome back to School. Did you have a super

holiday? I would really like to know what you did

last Friday. That was the day of the royal wedding

Did you have a party? Did you dress up like

a Prince or Princess? Write on the blog and tell

me all about it. We can’t wait to hear about it!!

Well done to all the children who wrote on the

blog about the story of the 3 little Pigs.

Now can you tell me the whole story? Start

your sentences with first, next and at the

end. I can’t wait to read your stories.

Next week in Reception we are going to look at the story of the 3 little Pigs. Has anybody read this story before? Do you know what happened first? If you do, can you tell a grown up and ask them to write it on the blog? or can you type some of the words yourself?

Remember, I only want to know what happens first in the story….

Materials

In Reception this week we have been talking about materials. We have made a list of all the differnt materials we could think of. Then we thought about what those materials made and how they felt. We have come up with some really good describing words like slimy, bumpy, smooth and rough.

What materials can you find in your home? How do they feel? can you write on the blog to tell us about different materials you can find and what they make and how they feel? we are looking forward to hearing some super describing words…..
